WINC was licensed by National Parks and Wildlife Service on July 1, 2013 & its licensed area is :
Port Stephens LGA
Southern part of Dungog LGA (covering Hilldale, Martins Creek, Vacy, Gresford, Paterson and surrounding areas (excludes Dungog township)
The southern part of Great Lakes LGA south of the towns of Bulahdelah and Stroud Road, incl the townships of Karuah, Limeburners Creek, North Arm Cove, Tea Gardens, Hawks Nest and Booral and major roads incl Booral Road, the Pacific Highway south of Booral Rd, and the Bucketts Way south of Stroud Rd but excluding the township of Stroud.
WINC aims to provide the best chance of survival to native animals that are sick, injured or orphaned.
